The Exodus Project supports women and men, as well children of victims of intimate partner abuse. Through education, resources and training, individuals who are experiencing intimate partner abuse and people helpers with a heart for the abused are equipped with tools and information to disrupt the epidemic of abuse.

The Exodus Project Emergency Financial Assistance Program is a donor lead initiative that provides critical financial resources to victims of intimate partner abuse and their children who are homeless, in transition or in an emergency shelter.

The Exodus Project provides online workshops focused on the holistic needs and challenges of intimate partner abuse victims and survivors, with an emphasis on God’s heart for the abused, shattering the lies used to manipulate and coerce abuse victim, barriers to freedom, healthy relationships and, trauma-informed physical, emotional and spiritual healing. We do not currently provide emergency housing. Through our Resources and Information victims of abuse can search emergency shelters in the US and Canada. Through The Exodus Project Emergency Grant, victims in transition can qualify to receive emergency financial assistance to secure permanent housing. 

We do not provide professional counseling or therapy services. Through our Resources and Information, individuals can access professional trauma-informed therapy providers who specialize in intimate partner abuse and complex relational trauma, as well as resource providers that provide comprehensive support for victims and survivors of intimate partner abuse.

Resources and Information

Lead by Patrick Weaver, executive leader of the The Exodus Project, our church training initiative provides specialized program training for churches with an emphasis on creating an abuse averse culture, creating inreach/outreach ministries, and equipping people helpers to support abuse victims and survivors.
